I was curious as to how this Cirque/Disney collaboration would turn out. I do not see it going over well with critics. A total revamping of the show needs to start happening now. Now if you live, breath and die Disney you most likely will love it. A great show with amazing things that made you sit on the edge of your seat. Disney needs to take Disney out of Cirque and let it be what it was ment to be. For the price of these tickets We expected a equal to if not better show than LA Nouba. Especially the one where about seven performers just stood around yelling Pipiddy bopidy Boo. In-between sets the skits were not funny at all and completely boring.
This show relied very heavy on animation making it lack luster. Part of the fascination that is Cirque Du Sole is it was not Disney and was exciting due to tremendouse acrobatic ability set by gorgeous costumes and live music. No live singing at all and only a cello was played for a min or so on a ledge. The upper cliffs that were used for live singers and musical instruments with La Nouba went mostly un-used. We watched a girl run around d stage and do absolutely nothing the whole show. There are few really aThe story was boring. The show was not much better than A Magic Kingdom show. This NEW show being made totally Disney was very slow, very lacking in so many ways.
And watch your children, Please.I have seen La Nouba many times and it was awesome. Please keep your hands, arms, and feet inside at all times. And heed this warning: the spirits will materialize only if you remain quietly seated at all times.
